Hello,

I am hoping someone can help here as i have searched quite a few forums and cannot get the answer to this problem. I am running Windows XP on a P4 3.0GHz with 2 GB RAM and using Nero 7. When i burn a DVD it takes 40 minutes (yes 40 minutes!) to burn. I have over 10GB free in C Drive and always clean my PC using McAfee...I also use a registry cleaner now and then...

The problem is not always but most of the time...sometimes i can burn a DVD in 10 mins...

Can anyone suggest a solution?

depend on which files u wana write.if u wana write proper dvd files then its take 5 to 10 min.if u wana write avi files then its takes time to converting in proper dvd format

I am actually creating a data DVD - they just JPEGs, PSD files, word, excell docs etc...
